Tulip Inn, Barlowganj. Mussoorie.

Here I am with my very first travel post! For those of you who follow me on Instagram or Snapchat, you already know that I had visited Tulip Inn, Barlowganj Musoorie for a relaxing getaway. And I have no idea how time just flew by while I was enjoying my stay in the clouds.
It is a perfect culmination of privacy, quietness and serenity.

I wasn't joking when I said, "I was living in the clouds."

With impeccable service and hospitality, I was very well taken care of right from the check-in to check-out.
I fell in love with my room the moment I entered. My room had a scenic view from the balcony as you will see below.

The night-view from the room took my breath away!

And soon it was my snooze time. As it took almost seven hours from Chandigarh to reach here all I needed was the comfiest bed in the world! And I sure did get that.
I also ordered my favourite in-room-dining.

Next morning, I explored the whole property and it was so calm, away from the rush of the city and buildings. It was a perfect-perfect getaway!

Loved this space at the hotel.

Tulip Inn can definitely be your perfect destination wedding location! With all the facilities and a spacious banquet hall and of course not to forget the views from the property!

After having breakfast at the restaurant we went for a short trek around the location.

Breakfast with a view.

Stepping into the Dreamland.

While walking-through the market place.

The last night at Mussoorie was spent partying and relaxing around the property and in my room and packing to leave the next morning. I had a lovely experience!

A special thank you to Richa for being so attentive to the needs and accompanying me during the experiences. Much love. xo

Glittery Ombre Nails at Polish, Nail Spa.

I always wanted to get pretty nail extensions done, but never really got a chance. Probably I was too lazy to go to the parlour!
Recently, I visited Polish, in Sector-8 Chandigarh for a nail spa pampering session along with other city bloggers.
I was very excited as it was my first time getting the extensions!

It was a well spent pampered Sunday!

When I went to Polish, the nail tech did the basic mani procedures (cut, trim, buff) before looking closely at my natural nails to see what shape nail extension she should apply.
I would always go for square nail shape as pointed nails are not my preference.
The tech applied the nails with strength glue and asked me about my preferred shape and length. I didn't opt for super long and pointed nails and played safe with normal length-squoval shaped nails.

For the colour and style, I chose a glittery subtle ombre design for my nails as brights and neons are not my cup of tea.
And god! I loved the final result! Such classy and go-with-everything nails are everything I could wish for my first time getting the extensions!
You really have to look after your nails after the procedure.
As they say at Polish, "Treat your nails like Jewels."

Overall, I loved the look of my extensions, but it's not something I'd want everyday. There's just something fun and fascinating about looking down at glittering claws as compared to our natural nails with boring polish haha!

So get your appointment at Polish, Nail Spa and get your claws on! I'll see you super soon! xo.

The Lalit Chandigah: OKO Culinary Class.

Hello everyone!
So. I'm back with a new post, again in collaboration with The Lalit, Chandigarh.

The Lalit invited me for a culinary class at OKO, a PAN Asian restaurant under the guidance of the executive chef, Suriya Phusirimongkhonchai. It was a wonderful experience learning to cook Thai food and hogging on the same!

We learned to cook three Thai dishes that were on the menu namely, Som Tum Salad, Green vegetable Thai curry and a dessert Tum Tim Grob.
Believe me, they were lip-smacking! I had the best Thai food here till date.

I absolutely forgot to mention about the welcome drink which I totally loved!
It was a very refreshing Peach flavoured drink and I loved every sip of it!
Plus, I had the Thai food with chopsticks! All thanks to Aman, my fellow blogger from Singh Flash for brushing up my chopstick skills!

With bloggers Santwinder and Aman and my loveliest Karina.

The chef also showcased his carving skills which were mere excellence. Looks so effortless but for me, it would've taken a lifetime to carve a watermelon!
In all I had a wonderful-wonderful time at The Lalit as I did the last time when I was there. Here's what I wore to the event:

So it's a bye for now, and I'm coming back with a new post super soon! xo.

Sun's Out Guns Out.

Ripped denims aren't new or ground-breaking, but they do add a serious dose of cool to any outfit. The ripped denims look is so effortless and so stylish at the same time! This is the reason why it's gaining more and more spotlight! Ripped denims can make you look posh yet unprepared, which perfectly works for me. Also edgy. If you follow my blog from the start, you'll know that I'm a lover of ripped jeans. And now, my new found love is boyfriend denims!
I came across this wonderful pair of ripped denims online and obviously without second thoughts I ordered them right away! And of course the rip was cherry on top of the cake!

Here, I'm wearing my now-favourite pair of boyfriend denims and believe me when I say that I'm abusing them almost every other day!
I paired these denims with this full-sleeve, a little turtle neck (if I could say so) top, leopard print heels and this beautiful-beautiful structured bag!(also, favourite)

If you're not a big fan of heels, or don't want to wear heels on a day-out, for 'keeping it casual', flat shoes look OK with boyfriend ripped denims, if you're going for a laid back androgynous style: ballet flats, oxfords or even sneakers will make a statement!
If you want to give a bit of chicness and femininity to your look, make sure you add a watch and/or spice it up with accessories. I am not a very 'accessories person' so if ever you spot me with an accessory, it will only be a boyfriend watch!

The ripped denims trend is been around since forever, but I see no good reason why it needs to go. Ripped denims for both girls and boys look cool, sophisticated and so effortless!

So guys, excuse me while I take your leave to hunt for more such boyfriend denims in different washes and I'll see you super soon! xo.
