Baesics.

Bae + Basics = Baesics

So I'm back with another post! Super soon as I always say.
I can't even reckon how many times have I said that I'm a "basics" girl and yes, minimalism!
I like cool and deep tones when it comes to my outfit selection. I don't really like flower prints or very vibrant colours, but sure changes are good (once in a while).

There was a time when mom jeans were considered a fashion abomination. They are unflattering to a woman's body, and they usually make buttocks look larger and fatter. The fit is  just all over the place. Needless to say, any person under the age of 30 caught wearing mom jeans would be at the receiving end of heartless jokes.

But that changed drastically in the past few years. With the growing interest in vintage fashion and the general love for all things high-waisted, mom jeans have been reinvented and made into something a lot more wearable and fashionable! Now, you can wear mom jeans and get away with it! (Kathy Noto)

I personally like high-waisted bottoms because I feel that they suit my body type and accentuate the waist.

I am currently obsessed with mom jeans with knee-slits. Amongst all the other options cropped tops are perfect accompaniment to mom jeans. Here, I'm wearing a basic grey tank top and to crop it, I tied a knot. Jeans are no longer made from blue or black denim, they have evolved into something that is a tad edgier and more modern as well as stylish.
I am wearing a a pair with acid-washed denim with ripped details.

For shoes, I'm wearing my beloved Espadrilles and I'm carrying a beautiful structured bag.
ALL FAVOURITES!

That is all for this look, I'll see you guys super soon! xo
